Important Policy Update - Beneficiaries

At the November 15, 2023 Membership Meeting, the LEBF bylaws were updated to only allow for the designation of non-juvenile beneficiaries. This ensures the mission of the Fund, to provide the beneficiary(ies) with funds within one business day, will be successful. This can not occur with juvenile beneficiaries. Members who have already designated a juvenile beneficiary are encouraged (but not required) to submit a change form to update to an adult beneficiary. More information can be found HERE, or use the CONTACT FORM to reach out to the Director for your agency.

A group of employees from the Fairfax County Police Department formed the basis for the fund, starting in 1999 as the Fairfax County Police Benevolent Fund. Other agencies have since joined, prompting a name change in order to better reflect all members from several different agencies in Northern Virginia.

Memorial

Our goal is to help the family of a member after the member's death. The following Deputies, Officers, and Civilians were members of the Law Enforcement Benevolent Fund, and their families received the full benefit the Fund provides.
